This article from the NYT introduces a new news-curated email-newsletter that hopes to cultivate readers who are teenage girls: Cover. The founders come from the publishing industry, not the library…industry. Looks like they have run the numbers on their target audience and have decided to dive in.
The scope of each issue seems modest enough. Made me think it was something a librarian or group of librarians might undertake on, say, a weekly basis; perhaps with little more authority. Any good ones already out there?
