We've started putting some of our less functional book-ends to a new purpose. A quick bend to the "tongue," add two push-pins and they are serviceable book displayers for our bulletin board.
Dan, I was very inspired by this idea when I visited last month. Back in my library I realized I don't have any bulletin boards to pin these onto. But I was able to bend them into easels for displaying smaller books on the tops of shelves. I'll try to rustle up a camera to send you a picture.
The first twelve years of my blogging was as pilot and chief navigator for the ACS MS/HS Library working to cultivate the intellectual climate within our school by sharing discoveries, ideas, reflections, and a part of myself (dddjournal.blogspot.com). Now, with this blog I, well, hope to do the same for anyone who happens by.

Neat idea. I think I'll try it.
