A school colleague has forwarded a great (addictive!) vocabulary site. That's right, an addictive vocabulary site.
The folks at freerice.com have made it simple. As you improve on their multiple choice vocabulary quiz, they donate 10 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Program for each correct answer. Yesterday (12/17/07) corporate sponsors funded the donation of 358,539,540 grains of rice that players earned!
If the word "freerice" comes up as you play, selection the definition closest to "inspired."
