I'm probably the last one too see this film, but even so, it's worth sharing just in case. It's "The Story of Stuff," a provocative, explanation/rant (depending on your economic/environmental persuasion) that asks and answers why our preoccupation with "stuff;" it's extraction, production, distribution, consumption, and disposal. It has quite a following of advocates and critics ( see NY Times article).
Whatever your reaction, it goes to show, once again, the power of a simple black & white production in the hands of a master. A sample:
