Although I only had an online audience of one, our live Ustream broadcast from the library yesterday was successful; being viewed in Binghamton by someone who was unable to attend the event. Our simple set up (an iMac pointed at the reader and a free Ustream account) worked.
In the coming days I hope to try it with an iPod and to find out if our school policies would allow the broadcast of school sporting events and performances on a the library "channel."
Now I'm going to see if I can find an iPod tripod mount on Thingiverse that I print on the MakerBot!
