Corresponded with the History Day folks at NYSHA.
Emailed link to my Delicious bundle to MS Social Studies teacher. I have been researching resouces for her Great Depression unit. Really like this site at the University of Washington! Also shared print resources with her; including an actual Weimar republic 100000 Mark!
Booked the Library lab for the Communications class.
Shared this neat geology news about gold formations during earthquakes with our Earth Science teacher and with the sixth graders studying plate tectonics. Later I found this TimeToast timeline and suggested it to the sixth grade teacher as a neat tool for future use.
Updated the school home page with news of All-County music participants.
Scanned blood drive and MDA images to post on school site for Junior Honor Society events.
Brought in a scholarship opportunity for journalism that I shared with an interested student.
Scanned a selection of political cartoons, compiled them in a Keynote presentation, then shared the PDF with teacher.
Took down my bulletin board.
Assembled a new library chair. Looks easy enough to invite student groups to assemble the other seven.
Burned a DVD of a student-created video so that they might submit it to the upcoming BOCES Media Festival. They filled out the application form.
Returned an ILL book to Norwich High School library.
