My Day

Posted a video to school's home page of a student-athlete's record setting long jump. Then I taped off the distance (17"01"!) on the library floor so that students might better appreciate her accomplishment
Rewound a VHS tape for a teacher's aide.

Forward this link to our science teachers of an extend video tour of the International Space Station. Great stuff! Watch it.

Formatted a video clip I filmed yesterday of 5th grade carolers in the school lobby and sent the clip to their teacher.

My Twitter feed from The Atlantic led me to this article about a forthcoming video game : Meriwether (Lewis & Clark). Forwarded the link with a recommendation to our Social Studies teachers.

Made some first-round selections for my WT Cox magazine renewals.

Helped students record a voice-over and edit stills for their Afton Teen Center Initiative proposal.
Hooked up the theater sound system to the auditorium media cart for an event rehearsal.

Posted holiday student portraits I am drawing for students in need of a holiday gift for their parents.
Added a skeptical analysis from the Chronicle of Higher Education of the MOOC phenomenon to my MOOC bundle of articles.

Forward a PDF excerpt of the Journals of Lewis & Clark to the MS ELA teacher which he will use as an CCLS informational text.
