My Day

First day back to school. Still moving furniture and fixtures in the morning.

Had a request for the Kodak slide projector! Called up the archival user manual online to figure out how come the lit bulb was not projecting. Jimmied the long-stuck "heat-shield" open. back in business. Delivered it.

Fired up a digital camera and delivered it to the MS Science teacher. Checked in and shelved library supplies.  Forwarded neat old/new tech article to Tech teacher.

Also checked in PermaBound book order and downloaded the MARC records for the back-to-school Follett order.  Prepared a media cart for Health teacher.

Responded to an student inquiry about posting "school news" on the web site so that she might practice journalism skills. Also suggested starting a blog and a weekly print paper to her.

Collaborating with 8th grade ELA teacher on a first-time project-based class. Met with class for first time.

Loaning books, facilitating student logins, adding new students readers to our system. Asking and answering questions all day. Back in the saddle again.
