Flip Obit

It seems like only yesterday I was watching David Pogue's apologetically late video-review of the techno-gizmo that had sneaked-in under his radar. I had just ordered a Flip camera for the library based on a blurb in the SLJ. It really was simple and cool.

And now? And now I learn on NPR that your parent company is shutting down that division; mainly because the Flip never accommodated the upload/share requisite that cell phones provide. Simple was not enough. R.I.P.
