My Day

Wore my fish tie for the opening day of trout season.

I began by rolling a laptop and projector to the Auditorium for an 8th grade orientation program tonight.

Met with three members of our PTO for last minute planning on our upcoming Book Fair. After they left, I made made and delivered 15 tabletop ads, a sign-in sheet for elementary classes, and 100 "well done" coupons for the PTO to distribute to students they have recognized.

I downloaded & burned photos and audio of yesterday's visit by a NYS legislator to one of our classrooms. Delivered them before noon.

Formatted a jump drive for a foreign exchange student.

Gave my two other copies of New Found Land to our MS social studies teacher. Had given her one to review late yesterday for her Lewis & Clark unit. Offered to be a reader and sent her a .kmz of a Google Earth L&C tour.

Made a connection with MS science for an alumni guest speaker about geography/geology. Also forwarded some Google Earth places they might be able to use for their lessons.

Loaned a Flip video camera to a MS student. Demonstrated how to download the files.

Chased down the status of network logins for two new students.

Reacquainted a HS teacher with the citing tool in Microsoft Word. Offered to make a Jing video for Tech Support to demo it.

Posted April's Elementary Newsletter to the web site when it arrived.

Made and phrased this month's Senior of the Month certificate for the Guidance Office.
