This is neat. Google has sort of inverted an option in SketchUp to make it very easy to render existing buildings from from selected cities in Google Earth. I can visualize Middle School students rendering historic Philadelphia and language students adding models to Madrid and Paris.

That's a wonderfully clever way to A) develop a 3D model from a set of photos and B) populate Google Earth with many new 3D buildings. Cool!
