We've been experimenting at ACS with making captioned tours on Google Earth of our school bus routes as a training guide for drivers. Almost cool.
A recent NY Times article reported on the unveiling of Google Transit for New York City. Transit piggybacks on Google Maps to offer public transportation routes and times between locations; identifying rail, bus, and walking segments. Definitely cool.
