Collaboration station

I am anticipating the implementation of our school's more robust 1:1 notebook initiative this year by cobbing together a collaboration station (like I've seen all over campuses when I visit). I have an expectation that our students will embrace the opportunity that these stations might provide; like collaborative critiques and project-building sessions.

For my pilot station I have filched the monitor from our Raspberry Pi set-up, moved one of our new charger hubs to station, and hooked up an old audio-splitter so that students can share audio through their headsets. I envision small groups taking turns linking their laptops to the common monitor to share, critique, and edit their work. Next will be #gettingthewordout.
