I am enjoying talking with my cadre of hard-core readers about the advantages/disadvantages of two ideas for our library: 1) interfiling our reference books in with our nonfiction, and 2) arranging our fiction section by genre. These two ideas come from reading articles about them in Library Media Connection.
Their responses have been very helpful. Plus, they are very excited about the prospect of helping to select categories, and physically helping to accomplish the switchover. Cool!
