As I was leaving school earlier this week, two students called me over to the lobby door to show me this leaf on the sidewalk and asked me to take a photograph of it. I unlocked the library, grabbed my camera, and took the photos; inviting them to join me in writing poems about the image. I wrote a few and posted them on the lobby door for them to find. Poetry month, doncha know. Me.
