First week
Moved some fixtures to create a public and more private work area (perhaps our makerspace?) in the library.
I bar-coded our Fall arrival books and input them into OPALS.
I made two quick 30-second videos on how to access Current Events from the News Feed link on our library page. I emailed links to those videos to 9th and 10th graders using their new school email accounts.
Drafted an invitation/suggestion for a Common Read program at ACS.
Logged my iPod onto Axis 360 and borrowed an ebook to read!
Placed an order for littleBits; electrical building-blocks for our makerspace.
Requested to paint a wall of our library “green screen” green.
Working bugs out of access to our new Sharpe Online resources.
Shared some great articles gleaned from Twitter with students, staff, and colleagues:
explaining the Higgs Field,
story-tellings impact on Evolution,
the genetic advantage of elite athletes,
and the birth of grandparents.
