My Day

I began by dropping off my gifts for the student Angel Tree.

I trolled the Elementary school hallway for some examples of student work. I made a composite of one project and posted it on the school home page.
Shared a New Scientist article with the Psychology teacher that describe the use of online avatars in treating soldiers with PTSD; recommending that her students visit the sample site.

Posted this neat infographic from the NY Times on an end-cap as a  example of an effective visualization of several variables within a single design.
Added a Math Monday RSS feed to this blog and forward the link and a recommendation to the HS Math chair.

Visited the HS Art teacher to give him a copy of the Figurative Painting titles that I ordered through our BOCES CCCD program: George Bellows, Lucien Freud, Alice Neel, etc.

Processed an Inter-Library Loan request and return.

Worked with 8th grade ELA students to stage photographs needed for their green-screen movie describing their Teen Center proposal.
Researched some resources for an ELA teacher to assist their study of The Outsiders.
