Once again, my experience as an exhibit judge at NYS History Day in Cooperstown was challenging and memorable. I enjoyed the anticipation of "being on exhibit" myself; representing my school as a capable, qualified educator amid a gathering of dozens of state-wide teachers and administrators.
I had the opportunity to serve on a panel to judge both Individual and Group Junior Documenaries. The student projects were inspired and inspiring. I am also proud of the thoughtful effort we put forth as judges to write meaningful and encouraging comments in our critiques of all the entries.
I hope to recruit some ACS folks next year to join me in this annual experience.
