No Tech like Old Tech

Having just finished The Devil in the White City, I've been sucked into the innovative age of the 1890s again when ingenuity and gadgetry exploded in the USA.

At the same time, I found my way to Cornell's "Making of America" site; specifically, its virtual journal database of turn-of-the-century magazines. Take a stroll through an issue of Manufacturer and Builder to immerse yourself in the protean capacity of that age to develop a process or tool to nudge our industrialization into its infinite avenues of invention.
