I made an end-run around my circulation software today to get some punch in my library home page. I wanted to have a changing graphic display of new arrivals and popular titles.
So I created a LibraryThing account, loaded in 30 or so titles, then pasted the display widget into my library page. It displays a dozen random selections.
On the downside, the images are linked to Amazon (possibly confusing), but on the upside I have a not-very-labor-intensive changing window display for my library page visitors.
