Nothing could be further from the truth than the notion that "librarian" is a noun - a thing to which stuff happens.
The overwhelming evidence is that librarians (and libraries) are some of the most active verbs in your school. They think, create, coordinate, reconstitute, inspire, lead, help, initiate, maintain, innovate, instruct, share, learn, envision, and read; among other things.
So. If "librarian" is not currently part of your routine teaching vocabulary, you may want to look it up because of the richness and opportunity it adds to whatever your trying to say in class.
