We've started to receive our subscription to MAKE magazine at the library. It's about "technology on your own time." Like many folks, we learned about it from stumbling upon MAKE podcasts and videos.
I offer up this typical MAKE video. I don't know if I could imagine more infectious way to be urged into applied science than watching Bre Pettis "make" things...and be excited about it.
